All children ages 4-14 are welcome to attend. We will have prizes for bringing your

the week are Volleyball, Soccer, Basketball, and Bicycles. A lot of fun things are

planned for the week! We are very excited about it.

When school starts back up, we have a lot of new things beginning in the Olathe

Salvation Army! Afterschool activities on Wednesday nights will be starting back up,

including band and singing groups, character building classes, and much more.

Dance classes will also begin again on Tuesday nights.

We will also be starting a gospel choir for teens and young adults! So, we are very

excited about that.

Palm Sunday, and Easter Sunday

Hello everyone, I know these pictures are a little late, but I haven't been able to get on here lately. On Palm  Sunday we had an emotional message from "Mary". The spirit was really moving! Easter Sunday was great! We  had an Easter egg hunt for the little ones, a breakfast, a dance performance,  an amazing painting done, of Jesus  Christ. We also enrolled four new senior soldiers.

Wow, it has been a while!  The computer died!! Yes, it just died one day.  We now have a new one (No pictures yet) and thank the Lord for it.

So much has been happening. We held a Sunday School promotion for 6 weeks that ended on February 28.  The theme was Running the Race.  The members of the Corps seemed to really get into it and enjoyed it.  Each week we would add a piece of our Running Suit to remind us of the fact that we are in a race to get to heaven and we need to be prepared.  The kids (and I think) the adults really liked wearing tennis shoes, sweats, and hats to church each week. We also had to have something to tell us the time for the final week and Captain Patricia decided to pull a "Flava Flav" outfit! (I will post pictures soon)  She took the clock off her kitchen wall at home and wore it around her neck!  Everyone got a good laugh about that!  But the point got across when the following week someone had 'taken' the battery out of her clock.  She talked about how the clock looked the same, but it was no good without the battery inside it.  She made the application to how we don't work without Jesus in our lives.  On that Sunday morning 4 children came forward and asked Jesus into their hearts for the very first time. It was precious!!

God is really working at the Corps!  We have many families from the Lodge coming over and taking part in the activities of the Corps. A couple of them have even given their lives to Jesus over the last month or two. God really is good!!

Colonel Dalberg is coming this Sunday to share with us about our new building project!  That is very exciting!!  Stay tuned for pics of the Sunday School promotion and other events that have taken place over the last couple of months!!

May God richly bless you all this day!!!!

There is definetley alot going on at the Olathe Salvation Army corps! Christmas is over, and the new year has begun.

Our youth activities started back up a couple of weeks ago,and it is going great! We are working on an Easter musical to perform on Easter Sunday; and the kids are really enjoying that. I will let all of you know when the performance will be, becuase I'm sure you won't want to miss it!! We also have great men's and women's bible studies that everyone is welcome to- (child care provided).

Last Sunday, my grandparents (my mom's parents) came to visit us, and for church on Sunday they led the praise team with my parents, and big brother.   There are a couple of pictures below of that.

These first pictures are of our first week back of youth activities.
Some of them may be kind of blurry, because my camera was acting up. Sorry-

Here are a few pictures from our second week of youth activities...

And here are some a couple of picture from church on Sunday...
